Having participated in a life-changing coaching conversation myself, I was inspired to become a change conversationalist. I now commit my time to helping people to achieve breakthroughs in their careers and lives by holding impactful conversations that bring clarity, courage and confidence. I have had over 1000 conversations with people from all walks of life and this includes leaders and key talent from Fortune 500 companies, start-ups and impact sectors.

Coaching Philosophy

I always see coaching as an equal partnership between the coach and the clients. In any coaching partnerships, I work closely with the clients towards their goals in 3 steps: unlocking awareness, designing actions and instilling accountability. Throughout this journey, I often take the appreciative inquiry and strength-based approach so they can further discover and leverage on their unique talent and available resources. My clients often describe me as empathetic and intuitive yet candid in providing hard feedback.

Work Experience

I spent my early career co-leading business development for Teach For Malaysia, a member of Teach For All Global Education Network. Thereafter I moved on as a Recruitment and Learning Consultant at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). I also accumulated experience in data migration and CRM systems working with a multinational consulting firm. Now, I manage Y Coaching Academy with the mission to train and gather a supportive, driven community of next-generation coaches who catalyse transformation in themselves and others.
